Be Activated is a hands-on system that resets the nervous system and restores optimal breathing and muscle-firing patterns. When the body fires in the right sequence: movement becomes more efficient and powerful, and the risk of injury is reduced.

Be Activated was developed by South African physiotherapist Douglas Heel, whose pioneering work has transformed performance systems worldwide. His approach focuses on restoring the body’s natural firing sequence, producing immediate and measurable changes in movement, strength, and recovery.

What is Be Activated?

We begin with testing your current movement & breathing, to identify compensations. Then we activate, so breathing becomes more efficient, muscles fire without thought, and movement becomes more powerful. The changes are seen and felt immediately.

  1. Assessment / Pre-Test
    Breathing, strength, and movement sequence checks to identify your cheat: your compensatory pattern.

  2. Activation / Reset
    Hands-on reflex stimulation, myofascial release, and breathing resets, starting from the zone 1: our centre.

  3. Re-Test & Integration
    Confirm changes through re-testing, and giving you the opportunity to feel the changes in your own movement. We then reinforce with functional movement, sport-specific movement and drills.

  4. Self-Activation Tools
    Simple routines you can use outside sessions to maintain optimal movement and breathing patterns.
